Example of one
ancient
medication for extracting the tooth
Here you can view that
some of the
old medications taken from medieval
medicine are not suitable for use. This is an medical
formulation from
early XVII century specially prepared for one important person of that time.
This medieval medication was apparently used for tooth problems, but it is not
clear how such "remedy" can help.
More ancient prescriptions you may
find here.
Dentes Eradicans
{Rx} Ranas virides quæ in arboribus
Tendron Circumforaneus Domino Mutilleto certissimum hoc experimentum dedit.
This is a good example of the
ancient
formulation which is not recommended to use since this "remedy"
contain a frog as an
ingredient.
